Fans of Peloton’s new Low Impact Cardio class type will be pleased to see a new instructor added to the roster: Callie Gullickson. A 10 minute Low Impact Cardio class with Callie was released to the on-demand library on January 26 at 10:00am ET, and is now available for all members to take.
You can find the class here on Peloton.
Callie posted about the class on social media, saying “they were so much fun to teach, to film, I hope you enjoy them”. This gives us a hint there will be more from Callie dropping in the future.
Peloton’s Low Impact cardio format keeps the heart rate in an aerobic zone and is more endurance-based, offering a great option for members who may be recovering from an injury or illness, or simply looking for a lower impact workout on the mat. This is opposed to Peloton’s standard HIIT Cardio classes, which are designed to increase your heart rate to the higher zones and often include a lot of jumping movements.
Peloton released the first installment of Low Impact Cardio last September. There were initially three classes released, and Peloton has added one class per month since then. Until now, all Low Impact Cardio classes have been taught by Rebecca Kennedy. Members can likely expect new releases from both Rebecca and Callie moving forward.
Peloton first shared thi news class was on the way earlier this week via the weekly “This Week at Peloton” Instagram post.
Peloton has a dedicated Low Impact Cardio collection that includes all available content. Classes are also available in the on-demand library via the cardio modality, and you can filter specifically for “low impact.”
Will you be adding Callie’s new Low Impact Cardio class to your upcoming stack this weekend?
