Peloton Pausing Apparel Sales in Australia

Peloton has announced a temporary pause on its apparel sales in Australia. The pause will be effective as of February 1, 2025.

A new banner on the Peloton Australia apparel website prominently highlights this development. The message reads:

“Starting February 1st, our Peloton Apparel website will be taking a break. We’ll be back later in 2025 with access to more styles designed to move with you. For more information, please visit our Support Article.”

Update – Peloton has updated their messages, and now says that apparel sales in Australia won’t start again until 2026.

The accompanying support article provides additional details, stating that the pause will last for a few months as Peloton works on “making some updates to the site.”

While Peloton has not specified an exact return date, they promise Australian members a more extensive selection of styles when sales resume. This includes a broader variety of collections and collaborations. According to the support page:

We’re making some exciting changes to our Peloton Apparel site. Once the changes are complete, you’ll have access to even more styles, including a greater selection of collections and collaborations that move with you, at home, outside, or at the gym.

Peloton has not provided a specific reason for the pause.

This move comes amid a period of expansion and strategic shifts for Peloton’s apparel division. In the U.S., Peloton has recently strengthened its retail presence through new partnerships with major retailers. Peloton Apparel and accessories became available in Nordstrom in November of 2024; and in Target earlier this month.

For now, Australian members will need to hold off on purchasing official Peloton apparel directly through the platform after February 1. Members should keep an eye on the apparel site and stay tuned for updates on the relaunch. Referral credits will have their validity date extended beyond the closure.

We will share updates regarding this matter as details become available. For more information about Peloton Apparel’s temporary pause in Australia, visit the dedicated support page or the Peloton Apparel Australian website.
