The event will take place on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 6:00pm at PSNY. The event website contains more information and the option to register.

The official event description reads:

Join us for a intimate evening with Katie Wang and Aditi Shah along with special guests from AAF & Heart of Dinner at Peloton Studios New York. We are coming together to honor and celebrate the rich cultural heritage, achievements, and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders throughout history.
We will be decorating grocery bags as a community gathering to show warmth and connection to Asian elders.
Each decorated bag you create carries a care package filled with nourishing, culturally thoughtful food—often providing 2-4 days’ worth of meals—and serves as a loving reminder that they are seen, cherished, and never alone.

The event begins at 6:00pm with check-in on the Plaza level at Peloton Studios New York. At 6:30pm, representatives from Peloton’s organizational partners will speak about mental health and food insecurity in the community. From 6:45-8:00pm, guests will have the opportunity to decorate care package bags while enjoying music, food and beverages, and a chance to mix and mingle.

The event is free to attend but spots are reserved on a first come, first served basis.

Peloton is hosting the event with two partners: the Asian American Federation (AAF) and Heart of Dinner. The Asian American Federation, which represents the fastest-growing ethnic group in both New York City and State, is dedicated to making sure Asian Americans are visible, heard, and their stories are widely shared. Founded in New York City at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Heart of Dinner is dedicated to combating issues of loneliness, isolation, and food insecurity among Asian American older adults.

The month of May marks Asian & Pacific American Heritage Month and Peloton is celebrating with special classes, content, and events. You can find more details via our recent article.

If you are interested in attending the event on May 7 with Aditi and Katie, be sure to register via the event website as soon as possible.
