Peloton instructor Alex Toussaint has officially launched his collection with PUMA. The full collection can now be viewed via PUMA’s website, and purchased via the PUMA app.
The collection includes 12 products, including: hoodies, sweatpants, tank tops, shorts, sports bras, leggings, and polos. The collection description reads:
We collaborated with Senior Peloton Instructor Alex Toussaint on a capsule collection of premium training and streetwear looks inspired by his “Game Speed” mantra and East Hampton, NY, hometown. The elevated performance-ready gear is designed to go hard or kick back in any setting. Aligned with the trainer’s trademark slogan, “Feel Good, Look Good, Do Better,” is our First Mile® initiative, which works with waste collection communities in Taiwan, Haiti, and Honduras to create jobs and positive social impact. The line incorporates yarn made from post-consumer plastic and all pieces contain at least 40% recycled material. Versatility just got an eco-friendly upgrade.
Alex give an interview with Boardroom, in which he discussed the decision to collaborate with PUMA:
It was more than just a line for me. I think Puma is just an innovative company, especially within the space of allowing athletes to create and execute a vision to the best of their ability. So, it was a no-brainer for me.
I have a lot of things happening behind the scenes, whether it’s my foundation or clothing, or just general ideas that I execute for my overall brand. Puma’s been such a heavy supporter of anything I’ve wanted to accomplish that leads to a higher purpose. So for me, it was a no-brainer partnering up with Puma to get this done.
Alex appeared at a meet & greet event at the PUMA flagship store in New York City on launch day, April 15. There was also a private launch party at the store on April 14, which was attended by numerous Peloton instructors.
Note that if you try to purchase any of the products online, you will be given a QR code to purchase via the PUMA app, as the products are app-exclusive.
The collection has its own page, but there is also a new splash section on the PUMA homepage as well.
You can view the entire collection via the PUMA website and app. Congratulations to Alex on the launch!
