Peloton is hosting a 5K shakeout run in Berlin on Saturday, September 26, the day before the Berlin Marathon, led by Jeffrey McEachern.
The event is free and open to both Peloton members and non-members, although advance registration is required and spots are limited to one per person.
Peloton describes the event as:
“Come join us for a shakeout run ahead of race day led by Peloton Tread Instructor Jeffrey Mc Eachern. We will be joined by our friends at Gegen Run Club and 261 Fearless.”
The route will cover approximately 5K, starting at The Common Cafe in Berlin’s Neukölln neighborhood, heading through Tempelhofer Feld, and returning to the cafe.
Peloton says the group will run at a conversational pace, with the event intended as a warm-up ahead of race day rather than a hard workout. Runners of all levels are welcome.

Check-in opens at 9:30am, with the run beginning promptly at 10:00am. The event is scheduled to finish by noon.
Participants can leave bags and personal belongings at the cafe during the run. Complimentary teas, coffees, juices, and light snacks will be available afterward, although there are no shower facilities.
Everyone taking part must have a confirmed registration and complete an activity waiver before the run. Peloton also notes that the event could be changed or cancelled if weather conditions make it necessary.
Gegen Run Club and 261 Fearless will join Peloton for the event. 261 Fearless is a global women’s running organization focused on building local running communities and helping women of different backgrounds and ability levels become more active.
The organization has worked with Peloton and Jeffrey around Berlin Marathon weekend before, including a pre-race event in 2023 that brought runners together for a community shakeout.
Peloton is also pointing runners toward Jeffrey’s 15 min Race Day Warm Up as part of their preparation.
Peloton recommends starting the warm-up 30-45 minutes before the race, with Jeffrey guiding runners through physical preparation as well as getting mentally ready for the start line.
The 2026 Berlin Marathon takes place Sunday, September 27.
Registration for the shakeout run is available now through Peloton’s event page.
