Peloton x US Open partnership

Peloton partners with US Open as the “Official Interactive Fitness Partner”

Peloton has a new partnership with the US Open. The US Open has named Peloton as the “Official Interactive Fitness Partner” of the tournament.

Peloton shared the news via Instagram, writing:

“Game. Set. Sweat. 🎾🏆Proud to be official partners of the @usopen to power every serve, sprint, and rally for elite athletes and everyday Members. Your best game starts here.”

The partnership arrives alongside the new Train for Tennis program with Matt Wilpers, a one-week, 15-class program. It covers mobility, stretching, strength, cardio, and running.

Peloton is also running activations tied to the tournament. One of them is a free in-person session with Matt Wilpers on Tuesday, September 1 at 6:00pm ET.

Peloton describes the event as:

“Join Peloton, the Official Interactive Fitness Partner of the US Open, for an exclusive athletic conditioning session led by Peloton Instructor Matt Wilpers. Rooted in the shared belief that showing up and putting in the work gives you the power to go further and do more, this session will push your limits and elevate your athletic foundation.”

The session is not taking place at the US Open tournament grounds in Flushing Meadows, or at PSNY. Instead, it will be held at the US Open Experience at Hudson Yards, located at 20 Hudson Yards in Manhattan and a short distance from Peloton Studios New York.

The event is open to both Peloton members and non-members, but attendees must be at least 18 years old. Doors open 30 minutes before the class, and Peloton notes that late arrivals may not be admitted once the session has started.

The class will be held outdoors with no overhead covering, and Peloton recommends bringing sunscreen and a sweat towel. It is scheduled to take place rain or shine unless severe weather or another safety concern forces a cancellation or location change. Peloton also says storage space for personal items will be very limited.

Registration was free and has already reached capacity, though a waitlist is available through the event page.

The 2026 US Open runs from August 23 through September 13.

Peloton is also giving away US Open tickets at Peloton Studios New York. They state that those who demo the Tread+ at PSNY will be entered to win US Open tickets.

Peloton has previously branched into tennis content & partnerships. Olivia Amato previously taught a Strength for Tennis and Pickleball program, while Joslyn Thompson Rule led a tennis-themed London Run Club during Wimbledon in July.
