Peloton has rebuilt their Outdoor Run Club into a more structured training series, with a new collection sorting the runs by training purpose rather than treating them as one-off weekly classes.
The updated classes now live in the Outdoor Run Club Series collection. Peloton describes it as:
“Strengthen your stride outside with à la carte runs that deliver what your body needs. Whether you’re staying race ready or building consistency, these runs are just right for mixing into your week. For more, join the Race Training team on the app!”
The collection is currently split into three sub-categories, each designed to fill a different part of the training week:
- HIIT – “Build power and speed with HIIT one day a week. Follow in order for a clear progression or pick the intensity that feels right today.”
- Endurance – “Refresh your legs with endurance one day a week. These steady-state runs let you choose duration that fit your goals this week.”
- Intervals – “One day a week is speed work. These intervals build VO2 max and race-ready pace. Follow in order for progression or pick the intensity that feels right today.”
Three classes are available so far, one in each category:
- 20 min Outdoor Run Club: HIIT Build – Alex Karwoski
- 45 min Outdoor Run Club: Endurance – Susie Chan
- 30 min Outdoor Run Club: Intervals Build – Marcel Dinkins

Peloton shared the revamped series via Instagram, writing:
“Pure performance running, personalized. Train smarter with à la carte outdoor runs that deliver exactly what your body needs, from speed and endurance to smart recovery. Whether you’re staying race ready or building consistency, these runs are just right for mixing into your week. Now on demand, with new classes dropping Mondays and Saturdays.”
Peloton lays out a suggested four-run week consisting of HIIT, Endurance, Intervals, and a “Long Run Day,” with the long run described as ending the week “on an aerobic high note.”
Peloton is also using the new series to point runners toward the Race Training team in the Peloton App, saying members can “tap into expert guidance, track your progress, and share updates as part of a community of runners.”
Official Peloton Teams launched last year, giving members a way to organize around shared training goals and interact with other members inside the app.
The update may also represent a change to how Outdoor Run Club appears on the live schedule.
Peloton first introduced the Outdoor Run Club format in late 2024, before making live audio-only Outdoor Run Club classes a regular part of the Saturday schedule in spring 2025. A rotating group of instructors has led the weekly classes since then.
The next several Outdoor Run Club workouts on the schedule are now listed as Premiere classes rather than live classes. Peloton has not said whether that is a permanent change or whether live Saturday Outdoor Run Club classes will continue alongside the new on-demand training structure.
The new version keeps the Outdoor Run Club name, but puts much more emphasis on how each workout fits into a weekly running plan rather than treating the Saturday class as a standalone community run.
