Peloton is adding both a new instructor signature series and a new class type later this month.
Peloton shared the news in its “July Workouts To Watch” email, teasing Katie’s Power Pyramid, a new strength series from Katie Wang, and Sculpt 30, a new class type blending Pilates, barre, and bodyweight strength.
First, Katie Wang is getting her own signature series, built around the pyramid-style programming she already uses in her strength classes. Peloton describes it in the email:
“Katie brings her pyramid-style programming to a new series of well-balanced strength sessions. Feel the power in the July 24 kickoff class, designed to keep you energized from warm-up band work to the epic finale.”
The kickoff class is a 45 minute strength class on Friday, July 24 at 9:30am ET. Its class description offers a few more details:
“Meet Katie on the mat as she brings her beloved “TACOCAT” pyramid to the first workout of her signature series. Feel the power in a well-balanced strength session that will keep you energized from warm-up band work to the handpicked finale track.”
TACOCAT is the name Katie uses with members for her pyramid structure. It is a palindrome, reading the same forward and backward, matching the way a pyramid workout climbs up through a progression and then works back down the same way in reverse.
The second addition is Sculpt 30, a new class type launching later in July:
“Low impact meets high energy in Sculpt 30—a seamless blend of Pilates, barre, and bodyweight strength moves with added equipment. Level up your fitness in these dynamic new classes, starting July 27.”
The classes start on Monday, July 27. Peloton did not name a specific instructor for this in the email, but the section featured an image of Hannah Corbin, so look for her, and possibly others, to be teaching the format. Hannah was one of the instructors who launched barre at Peloton in 2020, and she recently returned to teaching Pilates alongside Ally Love after more than four years away from the format.

Sculpt 30 arrives in the middle of Peloton’s ongoing push around Pilates and barre. Peloton refreshed both formats last year with new class names and structures, adding types like Barre: Sculpt, Pilates: Power, and 15 minute Express classes, and has since elevated Pilates to its own top-level filter. What sets Sculpt 30 apart is that it crosses formats, pulling from Pilates, barre, and bodyweight strength in one class rather than staying within a single discipline.
Will you be taking Katie’s Power Pyramid or Sculpt 30?
