Peloton has a new guest instructor: Tim Robards.
Tim Robards’ first Peloton classes will be released on December 8th (in Australia, which will be December 7th in the US & UK). He will teach a wide variety of classes, including cycling, running, strength, and stretching classes.
Update – The first classes from Tim are now available.
Tim is specifically joining as a “guest instructor” so will not be teaching classes year round. He will be starting off by teaching a “guest residency” from the Peloton Studios in London.

All of his initial classes are expected to be two for one classes – so he will be teaching alongside other UK-based instructors who will join alongside Tim for his classes.
Peloton is promoting this as an “investment in the Australian market”, and targeted towards their Australian members – as Tim Robards is from Australia (and lives there as well when not traveling for work). Tim is Peloton’s second instructor from Australia – Kirra Michel became the first when she joined as a yoga instructor in 2021.
Peloton also teased that some of Tim’s classes will showcase Australian music – “featuring music from iconic and emerging Australian artists, from ‘80s classics to today’s chart toppers.”
As part of sharing that he was joining Peloton, Robards said:
“I’m a busy parent and started training with Peloton to keep up my fitness and maintain balance which is one of my core values. I loved exploring and challenging myself with the loads of Peloton classes, particularly cardio and strength, which are super convenient, and I can always find a class to match my mood and energy levels. As a big believer in holistic wellness and cross training, being a Guest Instructor is an opportunity to go deep with Peloton to help more Aussies get into fitness, and to discover new and convenient ways to workout.”
Tim Robards rose to fame by being on the first season of The Bachelor Australia (he chose Anna Heinrich at the conclusion of the season, who he is married to today). Prior to beginning his career in TV, he was a chiropractor. Since being on The Bachelor, he also competed on Dancing With The Stars, as well as Ninja Warrior. He has gone on to be in several other TV shows & movies, and done modeling work as well.
Tim previously launched his own online fitness app, called “The Robards Method” in 2015. He followed this up with a book called “The 7:2:1 plan”, focused on health & nutrition, in 2017.

Peloton is focusing this announcement on broadening their appeal in Australia, and supporting current Australian members. Susannah Drinan, General Manager of Peloton Australia, said:
Since we introduced Aussie Kirra Michel, our full time yoga, meditation and stretch Instructor, our Members have been eager for more content that embodies the distinct Aussie take on fitness, well being and lifestyle. Tim’s energy will inspire Members to make the most of their workouts, stay motivated, and move with purpose, whether they’re cycling, running, doing strength or stretching alongside Tim, Peloton’s Instructors and our fantastic Australian community.”
Peloton’s press release about this highlighted other recent developments in Australia, including a partnership that will see Peloton hardware in Harvey Norman stores.
While Peloton has shared that Tim Robards’ first Peloton classes will be on December 8th, 2025, they have not yet shared how often new classes will dropped. However, since he is joining as a guest instructor – it isn’t expected he will have nearly as many classes as regular instructors.
Peloton has had a few guest instructors in the past. Earlier this year, Adriell “Dre” Mayes became a guest instructor with a “Kettlebell Experience” program on the Strength+ app. However, unlike that guest instructor appearance – the classes by Tim Robards are expected to be available in the regular on-demand library, and spread a wider ranges of modalities as detailed above. Christian Vande Velde also was considered a guest instructor and he rejoined Peloton in 2024 – and now teaches classes a couple of times a year from Peloton Studios New York.
Since Robards lives in Australia, and this is only a “guest residency” in London, there could be local Peloton events featuring Tim Robards in Australia in the future as well.
