Peloton has expanded its Personalized Plans feature with two brand new goal options: Promote Longevity and Boost Cardio Fitness.
Since the feature’s broader rollout earlier this year to members in the United States and Canada, Personalized Plans have only offered two goals: Build Strength and Support Weight Goals.

With this update, members now have a total of four goal options to choose from, intended to give more flexibility to align their workouts with their personal fitness priorities.

The Promote Longevity goal is described as follows:
Each week, you’ll focus on cardio, strength, and stretching to enhance your quality of life during the years lived in good health, also known as healthspan.

The plan is designed to focus on vitality, mobility, and flexibility, while also protecting muscle mass.

The Boost Cardio Fitness Goal is outlined by the below principles:
Each week, you’ll focus on prioritizing consistent aerobic activity and interval training.

The plan is intended to focus on improving stamina, circulation, and energy.

Personalized Workout Plans are part of the company’s growing Peloton IQ experience. Personalized Workout Plans essentially deliver a weekly workout plan based on the member’s personal preferences and past workout history. The feature is designed to help members achieve their fitness goals by creating custom schedules tailored to individual preferences and desired progress. Users can select their goals between the – now four – available options, and the app generates a weekly schedule tailored to those objectives. The plans adjust based on completed workouts and member feedback so that they remain effective and engaging.

Peloton had previously indicated that additional goals were on the way; and this latest update delivers on that promise, broadening the appeal for members focused on overall wellness and endurance, not just strength or weight management.
