Earlier this spring, Peloton sold its partially constructed manufacturing facility known as Peloton Output Park in Ohio, marking a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing efforts for financial rightfooting.
Recently disclosed financial filings reveal that in September 2024, Peloton sold the remaining parcel of land from the Output Park complex for $4.2 million.
The original Output Park project represented Peloton’s ambitious plans to manufacture its own products within the United States, intended to bolster the company’s control over production timelines and supply chain efficiencies. However, as Peloton’s financial situation changed (and demand for Peloton products slowed down), the company ultimately decided to abandon its owned-manufacturing ambitions and announced their intentions to sell the Output Park in 2022.
Peloton announced they had found a buyer earlier this year. The initial sale this spring included the partially completed building and a portion of the land, generating approximately $31.9 million in proceeds.

In a recent quarterly filing, Peloton disclosed the sale of the remaining land parcel associated with Peloton Output Park, completed in September 2024. This transaction, yielding $4.2 million, represents the final step in offloading the Output Park property. The sale marks a further commitment to Peloton’s restructuring goals, which include reducing physical assets and minimizing capital expenditures.
Peloton’s exit from owned manufacturing is part of a broader restructuring strategy aimed at streamlining the business, optimizing costs, and restoring profitability. Alongside the sale of Output Park, Peloton has reduced its global retail showroom footprint and made significant adjustments in operations to align with its current business model.
