Peloton has released Week 6 of their Discover Yoga collection. This is a “Backbends” program, led by Ross Rayburn.
Ross Rayburn’s Backbends program on Peloton is described as:
In week 6 with Ross, we’ll work on backbends to open up the shoulders, chest and heart.
These classes are notable since Ross Rayburn left Peloton this summer – however, the classes were likely recorded prior to his departure. The company has previously said how the door is still open to work together with these instructors. Ross is not the only instructor who left to be featured in this program – Week 3 of the program was taught by Kristin Mcgee.
One important thing to note about this program is that it is actually found in the collections area of the Peloton app. This means there are no badges, and you don’t have to officially opt into the program.

Peloton first announced their Discover Yoga programs in early September, and it will end up being 9 different week long programs. Each week will be led by a different instructor.

Day 3 – 30 min Backbends: Upper Back – Ross Rayburn – 10/21/24 @ 12:00am ET
Day 4 – 30 min Asymmetrical Backbends – Ross Rayburn – 10/21/24 @ 12:00am ET
Day 5 – 45 min Backbends Flow – Ross Rayburn – 10/21/24 @ 12:00am ET

Class Descriptions for Peloton’s “Ross Rayburn’s Backbends” Program
Day 1 – In this 20 minute class, Ross introduces the foundations of backbends and establishes how to create space when we practice them.
Day 2 – In this 30 minute class, Ross focuses on backbends that target the lower back.
Day 3 – In this 30 minute class, Ross focuses on backbends that target the upper back.
Day 4 – In this 30 minute class, Ross focuses on asymmetrical backbends.
Day 5 – In the final class this week, Ross flows through the various backbends learned throughout the week.
