Peloton Announces Partners for 2024 / 2025 Wellbeing for Life Community Program (Peloton Pledge)

Peloton announced this week that the company will continue to work with community partners in 2024 and going into 2025 through their Wellbeing for Life community engagement program. The program aims to support communities that experience systemic inequities and promotes physical and mental health.

Peloton launched Wellbeing for Life in 2023, as an expansion of their work through the Peloton Pledge. The current goal for their social impact program is “to reach 500,000 individuals by 2025 through global community engagement, including partner programs focused on equitable access to physical and mental health resources.”

Peloton shared in a press release that it has “reached more than 400,000 individuals through its community engagement program, including partnership investments, curated Peloton classes and content, and community activations involving our global partners” since 2021. For the year 2025, Peloton will work with and support 16 partner organizations, including GirlTREK and The Steve Fund, both of which Peloton has recently worked with to host public community events in the past month.

The Wellbeing for Life program originally stemmed from the Peloton Pledge, which launched in 2020 and then announced their first community partners in 2021 as an initiative to invest over $100 million over four years towards “the fight against racial injustice and inequity, and the promotion of health and well-being for all.” The first year of the Peloton Pledge involved 7 global community partners: GirlTREK, The Steve Fund, The Center for Antiracist Research, Local Initiatives Support Corporation, Sporting Equals, TAIBU Community Health Centre, and International Psychosocial Organisation. Peloton will continue its work with five of the original Peloton Pledge organizations in 2024/2025.

In the announcement of the 2025 community partners, Alia McCants, Senior Director, ESG – Social Impact at Peloton, shared:

“We work alongside our global portfolio of incredible social impact partners to amplify and support their impact in their communities. We want to break down barriers to physical fitness and wellbeing in our communities, and our partners are the experts on the ground advancing this critical work.”

The press release noted that Peloton would be working with 16 partners, although they only listed fourteen of them specifically. Their community page also lists Local Initiatives Support Corporation as a partner – but it’s not clear at this time who the final partner may be.
