He stated:
“Little announcement, everybody – little announcement for you this morning. Now that I’ve done the Musselman 70.3 this past weekend, I wanted to let you know that I’m running the Berlin Marathon this fall. Super excited! So I’ll be out in Berlin racing later this year and very excited for this race. It’s been a good year for me already; had Boston earlier this year, I’m excited to wrap up my marathoning for this year with Berlin. So if you’re going to Berlin, I’ll see you there baby! We’re going to have a good time out there.”
You can find the run in the on-demand library on your Peloton Tread/Tread+, app, or web browser.

We shared earlier this week that Matt recently completed the Musselman Half Ironman, which took place in upstate New York earlier this month.
The 2024 Berlin Marathon will take place on Sunday, September 29. Numerous Peloton instructors ran the Berlin Half Marathon earlier this year, and Peloton also served as an official partner of the race.
Matt has run numerous marathons, most recently the 2024 Boston Marathon earlier this year. In 2023 Matt also had a special video series in anticipation of the 2023 New York City Marathon called “The Road to NYC Marathon Series,” in which he shared tips for training, recovery, and preparing for the NYC Marathon. His announcement regarding the Berlin Marathon suggests that he will not run the 2024 NYC Marathon.
Best of luck to Matt as he trains for this next big race!
