Peloton is back to offering the well-known 30-day free trial of the digital Peloton app for new members.
You may recall that in April of this year, Peloton dropped the free trial duration from 30 days to just 7 days. This coincided with Peloton removing the free membership tier of their app for new signups, with just the App One and App+ tiers remaining.
At the time, Peloton explained that it removed the free app tier because not enough members were ultimately converting to the paid app membership tiers. The free tier of the app is no longer available for new member signups, however, the members who took advantage of the free tier prior to it being dissolved were grandfathered in.

However, in recent weeks, Peloton has quietly updated their free trial to once again be 30 days – and you can choose whether you want a free trial of App One and App+ Peloton’s app website details out which features are included between the two existing app tiers. When you sign up for a 30-day free trial, you have the option of choosing between a trial of App One and App+. After the 30 days, if you have not cancelled then you will automatically be billed for the app tier you signed up for ($12.99/month for App One, or $24/month for App+).

It is worth noting that new members can still get a 60-day free trial of the Peloton app if they receive a Guest Pass from an existing Peloton member. If you know someone who is a member, ask them for the Guest Pass to take full advantage of trying the app for free.
For those who might want a Peloton device, several pieces of Peloton hardware are likely to be on for the upcoming Amazon Prime Day.
