A group of Peloton members in the United Kingdom has organized a collective letter to Peloton’s Board and Executive Team, seeking additional context around recent changes to the live class schedule at Peloton Studios London (PSL) and the company’s broader long-term plans for the UK market.
The initiative, which has been shared across several UK-focused Peloton Facebook groups, centers on growing concerns around a noticeable reduction in live classes originating from the London studio – including the recent removal of Sunday live classes, which was announced in November. The organizers of the petition say that these changes have raised questions about the future role of PSL and the availability of UK-friendly live class times.
The organizers of the petition are collecting responses via Google Form, which is open to all Peloton members – regardless of whether they are based in the UK – who might be interested in signing.
According to the Google Form, the letter respectfully asks Peloton leadership to:
- Confirm whether the reduction in live classes at Peloton Studios London is temporary or permanent, including whether it is related to short-term factors such as instructor maternity or paternity leave.
- Clarify the long-term strategic role of Peloton Studios London, in the context of Peloton’s European and international footprint.
In the letter, UK members outline several reasons for seeking greater transparency, including:
- The removal of Sunday live classes and “the reduction of London live output to roughly a day and a half per week,” which they describe as a significant change to the member experience.
- Concerns about the loss of live, studio-generated UK content that visibly includes members.
- The importance instructors often place on member presence in the studio and how the scale of the reduction appears to contradict that messaging.
- The role Peloton Studios London plays not only for UK members, but also for European members and traveling U.S.-based Peloton users, contributing to Peloton’s global brand presence.

The letter also states that Peloton’s communications have framed the changes as being driven by member preferences, something the organizers say does not align with their own feedback or experiences. The group also notes that they would welcome the opportunity for a short meeting or call with Peloton leadership to discuss these topics directly.
Rather than a public petition, the initiative is structured as a private collective letter. Members who wish to support it are asked to submit their Peloton leaderboard username via the Google Form, and usernames would be shared privately with Peloton leadership as part of the letter. Optional questions in the form include country of membership, length of Peloton membership, Club Peloton level, and how frequently the member takes live classes. Organizers say this data would only be used in aggregate to help contextualize the letter.
No contact details are being collected, and organizers say they will share any response from Peloton leadership through the same channels where the form was distributed. The deadline to add a username in support of the letter is Sunday, January 4.
In 2024 Peloton discontinued live classes from PSL on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. With the new removal of Sunday classes as well, this now leaves only four days of live classes from London each week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Only two of these days (Fridays and Saturdays) are open to in-person members.
In addition, some members have commented online in recent weeks expressing concerns around the seemingly sparse PSL class schedule, especially with multiple instructors currently out on parental leave.

For members interested in reading the full letter or adding their name, the Google Form can be accessed via this link.
At the time of writing, Peloton has not publicly commented on the letter or the concerns raised, but we will share any details as this situation develops.

I’m stateside, but love being able to catch a live run at 0400 at least once a week from PSL. It is truly one of the only times I have during the week to attend a class line. Plus I absolutely love so many of the London instructors. I hate to see further reduction in their live schedule.
This affects Australian members too as the time zones mean London classes are potentially live classes for us (their morning our evening, roughly). We are already feeling a little unloved having lost our IRL stores, then online apparel store access, then experiencing declining customer service …on top of not ever having a studio or many live classes online at accessible times- yet paying full price (which hurts at current exchange rate) and full fees. I loved the Peloton experience but it is becoming harder to confidently recommend to others here.
