Peloton has released their first ever Split + Hike program, which is taught by Rebecca Kennedy.
Rebecca Kennedy’s Split + Hike program is a 4 day program, with each class being 45 minutes long. In each class, you will start out with a strength block for the first half of the workout. You will then finish with a hike on the Tread. Rebecca mentioned that on upper body days, you would push the hike a bit more since your legs would be fresh, while on lower body days, it would be treated more as active recovery.

When discussing the program, Rebecca mentioned the goal is progressive overload. As you repeat the program (ideally from 4-6 weeks) you should find yourself gradually increasing either the weight for a movement, or the number of reps you do.
Her goal with this program is to help you get strong and build muscles.

Peloton’s “Split + Hike with Rebecca Kennedy” Program Badges
It wouldn’t be a Peloton program without badges (you can always find a full list here). You can earn a Bronze badge for completing 2 classes, Silver badge for completing 3 classes, Gold badge for completing 4 classes out of the total 4 classes.

At time of publishing programs can be joined from the Peloton Bikes, Tread, Peloton Digital app, or the Peloton website. Simply browse to the programs area, find the Split + Hike program, and join the program. You can join on the web here.

I have a question on this split plus hike. Will it keep track of the weeks? It keeps going back to week one. And I have been doing it for 3 weeks now? Cynthia
