Peloton has launch a new “Road To Recovery: ACL” program led by Jess Sims.
This new program was designed alongside the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), and is designed for those who are recovering from ACL surgery.
Peloton describes this new program as “Thoughtfully designed to support each stage of recovery with smart, progressive movement—so you can return to fitness feeling strong and supported.”
This is a multi-stage program – with each phase being a separate program in the Peloton App. There is a 3-week Intro phase, a 6-week Phase 1 (for starting your 7th week after surgery), a 6-week Phase 2 (for 4 months into recovery), and the final 6-week Phase 3.

The program consists of a mix of both new and old classes. Jess Sims has recorded dozens of new classes, created just for the program. In addition, there are some other older classes, selected from the regular on-demand library, taught by other instructors that are also included in the program to help supplement the new classes by Jess.
Each phase has a different focus, designed to build your strength as you get further into recovery. Peloton first launched their partnership with the HSS back in October, with some special collections for injury prevention & recovery. This is the second full program they have created with the HSS – there is also a Road To Recovery: Shoulder program led by Adrian Williams.
In a post about the new program, Jess noted how what you do post-surgery is critical for your recovery, and why Peloton & the HSS teamed up to make this program. It is created to help you return to movement, and transition to working out safely.
This program is personal for Jess, who had surgery on her knee in 2024.
Peloton does note that the classes are NOT a substitute for rehab, but slowly aim to build stability and confidence in your knee.
Classes include strength, cardio, mobility, and meditation for a “holistic experience” to help you build your relationship and trust with your body.
Below, you’ll find details and full class lists for each of the 4 Program Phases.
