Peloton Releases Post-Run Stretches That Take Place Entirely On the Tread

Peloton has released a couple of new post-run stretches that take place entirely on the Tread. All post-run stretches in recent memory – and all that are currently available on the Peloton platform going all the way back to 2019 – take place at least partially on the floor, on a mat in front of or next to the Tread.

However, instructors Andy Speer, Olivia Amato, and Tobias Heinze each have a new five minute post-run stretch available that takes place entirely on the device itself.

Every new post-run stretch that has been released starting on April 3rd has been filmed with this new format.

This is great news for members who may not have a ton of space around their Tread to place a workout mat down for a stretch.

For example, in Andy’s newest post-run stretch class, he is standing on the Tread nearly the entire time. He puts a knee down directly on the Tread for a hip flexor stretch, but otherwise he remains standing for the various stretching positions.

It will be interesting to see whether Peloton continues this new format for post-run stretches, or if it is a temporary trial.

If you’re interested in checking out these newest stretches, Olivia’s was released on April 6th at 2:00am ET, Andy’s was released on April 4 at 10:00am ET, and Tobias’ was released on April 3 at 11:00am ET.
