Peloton has announced a major new global partnership with Spotify, making more than 1,400 Peloton classes available to Spotify Premium subscribers as part of Spotify’s newly launched Fitness category. The partnership officially launches today, April 27, 2026.
The Peloton content available on Spotify will include classes across Strength, Pilates, Barre, Yoga, Stretching, Meditation, Floor Cardio, and Outdoor running and walking. These will include classes in English, Spanish, and German. Both video classes and audio classes will be available.
The companies say that new classes and instructors will be added regularly. Bike (cycling) and Tread (treadmill running) classes are not part of the Spotify offering, as the partnership is focused on Peloton’s floor-based and outdoor modalities.
Spotify Premium users can find the new Peloton workouts by searching “fitness” in the Spotify app or by tapping the Search icon and selecting Fitness under “Browse all.”

Peloton is the launch partner for Spotify’s new Fitness category, but it isn’t the only fitness content available. Both free and Premium Spotify users will have access to videos and content from a number of established wellness creators, including Yoga with Kassandra, Caitlin K’eli Yoga, Sweaty Studio, Chloe Ting Home Workouts, Pilates Body by Raven, Abi Mills Wellness, Sophiereidfit, and more. The Peloton content, however, is exclusive to Spotify Premium subscribers.
Premium subscribers will also be able to download classes for offline access, and switch between watching a workout on TV and listening to it as audio on a phone or smart speaker.
Speaking on the announcement, Peloton’s Chief Commercial Officer Dion Camp Sanders said:
“We’ve always believed that the best workout is the one you actually do, which is why accessing world-class fitness content should be as easy as tuning into your favorite Spotify playlist. With this partnership, we are instantly activating a global footprint that makes the magic of Peloton accessible to Spotify Premium subscribers anywhere.”
For Spotify, the move expands the platform from “audio first” to a broader wellness offering. Roman Wasenmüller, Spotify’s VP and Global Head of Podcasts, said:
“For nearly two decades, Spotify has been the soundtrack to the world’s workouts. But listening was only the beginning. Today, we are expanding Spotify to become a true daily wellness companion.”
This is the most significant collaboration to date between the two companies, but it isn’t the first. Peloton and Spotify partnered back in 2021 with a “Curated by Peloton” shelf within Spotify’s Workout Hub featuring instructor playlists, plus several co-branded classes inside the Peloton app set to popular Spotify playlists. Today’s partnership goes much further, putting Peloton’s actual classes, and not just music playlists, directly into the Spotify app.
This partnership will begin to increase Peloton’s global reach. Peloton’s hardware is currently only sold in a handful of countries (the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, and Australia), and these are currently the only countries the Peloton app & classes area available in.
Spotify Premium is available in most countries globally, meaning the partnership instantly increases Peloton’s reach to a much wider international audience, as Peloton classes will be available in the Spotify app in these other countries.
In Peloton’s press released, they specifically called out how they are doing this to diversify their business model. They said:
“Additionally, this partnership reinforces Peloton’s shift toward a more diversified business model. By meeting millions of consumers on a platform they already use and trust, Peloton is building brand equity and long-term value in previously untapped international markets, making the Peloton experience more accessible and driving growth by leveraging the company’s floor-based and outdoor modalities and wellness content.
Peloton has previously worked to expand their reach by putting Peloton classes on different platforms. A handful of classes have been made available on YouTube which they began trying back in 2024. Peloton classes are also available to Fitbit premium members.
In 2023, Peloton classes became available on the Studio Mirror devices as part of the Peloton & lululemon 5 year global partnership.
CEO Peter Stern noted last fall that Peloton would be looking to license their classes to more platforms. This new Spotify partnership looks to be the first example of that.
