Peloton is looking for members to take part in another brand photo and video shoot, their second open casting call of 2026.
Peloton shared the new casting call through Instagram Stories, writing:
“Lights. Camera. Run. We’re looking for Members who run, walk, train for marathons or ultramarathons, lift, practice yoga, play sports, and everything in between to join us for a Peloton brand shoot from September 14-18. Sound like you?”
The shoot will take place in New York from September 14-18, and Peloton says they are looking for “everyday people and athletes” who are passionate about movement, with a particular emphasis on running and walking.
The application gives examples ranging from daily step-counters and casual 5K runners to ultramarathoners, with Peloton asking applicants to share how they started, how far they have come, and what keeps them moving.
Applicants are asked about their Peloton membership, products they own, which Peloton Teams they belong to, and their experience running on a treadmill or riding a stationary bike.
The questionnaire goes much deeper into members’ training habits. Peloton asks what a typical week of movement looks like, total Peloton workouts completed, current weekly mileage or step average, their longest streak or biggest workout milestone, and how they structure or track their training.
Members can also share goals they are working toward, apps or wearables they use, and how movement supports their mental health and well-being.
The form puts a particularly strong emphasis on runners. Applicants are asked which races, marathons, or fitness competitions they have completed, whether they have any upcoming races planned, and to complete prompts including “I started running to…,” “Running has taught me…,” “Running feels like…,” and “I run to….”
There is also a required 60-90 second self-tape.
Members are asked to introduce themselves, say where they live and how long they have been running or walking, and talk about why they started or returned to the activity, what role it plays in their life, and an achievement or transformation they are particularly proud of.
Peloton also wants to see some movement on camera. The self-tape instructions ask applicants to spend around 15 seconds preparing to move, including adjusting their gear, loosening up, and giving a short motivational phrase.
Another section asks for a runner’s lunge with an overhead reach on both sides, followed by dynamic movement such as stretching, high knees, or hamstring stretches.
The video finishes with what Peloton calls the “Hero Stance,” with applicants standing tall, looking directly into the camera, and giving a quiet, confident nod.

The application includes consent for Peloton to use submitted images, video, text, name, likeness, voice, actions, performance, and statements for worldwide marketing and promotional purposes.
This is the second time this year Peloton has openly sought members for a brand shoot.
Peloton issued another casting call in March for a photo and video shoot that took place April 14-17. That campaign, promoted as “Show Us What Moves You,” cast a much wider net across activities including running, hiking, dancing, swimming, boxing, basketball, roller skating, jump rope, recreational sports, and ultramarathons.
That earlier application also asked members about their athletic backgrounds and Peloton journeys, but its self-tape included a general fitness sequence with jumping jacks, goblet squats, reverse lunges, plank shoulder taps, and dumbbell push presses.
The September casting call is much more specifically centered around running and walking, both in the questions Peloton asks and in the movements requested for the self-tape.
The timing also comes as Peloton has been putting more emphasis on running and race training, including new training-focused Outdoor Run Club classes and more.
Peloton has not said what campaign or project the footage from the September shoot will ultimately be used for.
Members interested in applying can submit their information and self-tape through Peloton’s casting form.
