The Peloton Bike+ is available for a deep discount on Amazon right now, in what is likely a price mistake.
You can find the Peloton Bike+ listed for only $1,398 over on Amazon. This is over $1,000 off the normal retail price of $2,495.
Update – Around 10:00am ET, Amazon updated the price back to the regular $2,495.
This discount is well below the typical discounts we see for Bike+, with it only being lowered to $2,000 during Prime Day, which is about the same as what it was during Black Friday.
At the current (temporary?) price of $1,398, that means the Peloton Bike+ is only $100 more than the original Peloton Bike on Amazon – which is listed for $1,292.
For that extra $100, you get a slightly larger screen that rotates (and has better speakers), a digital resistance system (that supports auto-resistance, where it can automatically change the resistance for you), a more accurate power meter, easier to use knobs for adjusting fit settings, and more.
Peloton first started selling the Bike+ on Amazon around 2 years ago. In many markets, when ordering from Amazon, you have the choice of it arriving in boxes for you to assemble yourself, or for professional assembly (and in many cases, both of those options are free – although it depends on where you live).
