Peloton instructors Matty Maggiacomo and Tunde Oyeneyin will step into the spotlight this October as co-hosts of the 2025 Athlete Ally Action Awards.
The organization announced the news via Instagram, writing:
We are so thrilled to announce that @onepeloton instructors @mattymaggiacomo and @tune2tunde will co-host this year’s Athlete Ally Action Awards! This year’s awards honor @nyliberty and our Ohio State Athlete Ally Campus Chapter (@buckeyespectrum), with an additional honoree to be named soon! The event honors individuals and organizations championing LGBTQIA+ inclusion in sports and will take place on Thursday, October 23rd from 6-10 p.m. at Tribeca360 in New York City. This year’s honorees include the New York Liberty, the Ohio State University Athlete Campus Chapter, and NFL player Kahlen Saunders.
Tickets are now on sale, with individual admission priced at $750 and sponsorships ranging from $7,500 to $100,000.
The Action Awards are Athlete Ally’s flagship annual event, bringing together over 300 attendees, including honorees, celebrity athletes, powerful speakers, and high-profile guests. The night promises “unforgettable entertainment moments,” a lively silent auction, and meaningful opportunities to connect with others committed to fostering inclusive sports environments. According to Athlete Ally, the Action Awards are more than just a celebration; they are a call to action.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Athlete Ally’s ongoing work in advocacy, education, and policy to protect LGBTQ+ rights in sports and society at large.
