Fans of Peloton’s cross training content – which includes classes from multiple modalities – have some new programming on thew way.
Peloton has teased a new “Live Cross Training Program” launching on April 13, which will be 4 weeks long.
Rather than be a program that is released to the on-demand library with all the classes being pre-recorded, the classes in these program will be recorded live each week.
Peloton shared the news via Instagram, writing:
5 instructors. 4 weeks. 5 days a week.
The Live Cross Training Program is coming 👀
The post includes a video showing instructors Emma Lovewell, Katie Wang, Alex Karwoski, Andy Speer, and Ally Love on different Peloton hardware devices and the mat. This suggests that this group of five will be the instructors for the program, which will unfold over the course of four weeks with classes intended to be completed five out of seven days.
The program is set to begin on April 13, but Peloton has not released any other specific details beyond this.
Peloton’s caption also mentions that a German language program will arrive on April 27 as well and will be instructed by: Erik Jäger, Nico Sarani, Marcel Maurer, Charlotte Weidenbach, Assal Arian, Jeffrey McEachern, Mayla Wedekind, Benny Adami, Mila Lazar, and Cliff Dwenger. In other words, the full roster of Peloton’s German coaches.

Peloton has experimented with “live programs” before. The first of these was the Boost Your Base Power Zone program from last year.
Then, Peloton created the “Countdown To Turkey Burn” Cross Training program. In both of these scenarios, the classes took place in the same day & time slot each week, with the instructors teaching live classes designed as part of the program.
If this new “Live Cross Training program” follows the same model, look for it to be built out in the “Collections” section of the app each week as the live classes as released – and then once all the classes have been recorded, it will be migrated from collections to the true programs section.
Peloton has also focused more on cross-modality programs recently, such as in Rebecca Kennedy’s High Intensity, Low Impact (HiLit) program.
As always, you can find a list, full details, and classes for every Peloton program here.
We will share the full details as they are revealed, but in the meantime you can see the full post regarding Peloton’s upcoming Cross Training Program via Instagram.
