Another instructor has decided to step down from teaching at Peloton.
Today, Kendall Toole announced that she is leaving Peloton. She made the announcement via an Instagram video today, simply captioned ‘THANK YOU’
Update – Peloton has shared that Kendall Toole is leaving Peloton related to contract negotiations.
In the video, Kendall said:
It’s with great consideration and many, many, many hours of reflection, that I am choosing to close my chapter at Peloton.
Kendall Toole’s last class at Peloton will be on Saturday, June 29th.
Kendall’s classes will remain available on-demand. This was specifically clarified by Peloton in comments on social media, saying “Yes, Kendall’s classes will continue to be available on-demand, barring our normal edits to the library.”

Kendall went on to say that “It’s been an absolute honor.” She said “Thank you for riding with me, for sweating with me, for crying with me, for growing, for evolving.”
She thanks the Peloton community, saying “Thank you so much for letting me into your home, into your hearts, and many times, into the shadowy parts of your mind where it can sometimes get a little tough.”
She continued her thanks, saying “Thank you Peloton, for this incredible life-changing opportunity. I will forever be grateful for this life experience and transformation.”
Kendall closed her post by saying “This is more of a ‘I’ll see you in the next chapter’ kind of energy” and “Stay Tuned for What’s Next.”
Kendall has not yet announced her full plans for what she will do next. However, she has previously teased several projects in the works.
Last week, Kendall started including links to her new website in some of her Instagram stories. There, she says people will “discover big news, updates, recipes, wellness, and more!”

A few months ago, Kendall signed with WME talent agency. At the time, she teased working on a cooking project with Australian chef Dan Churchill, as well as teasing a possible project with Galey Alix from “Home in a Heartbeat” on HGTV.
Kendall had recently become a lululemon ambassador earlier this year as part of the 5 year Peloton x lululemon partnership as well.
Kendall first joined Peloton in September 2019 (alongside Tunde Oyeneyin). Her first class became available on September 10, 2019 – meaning Kendall Toole worked for Peloton for around 4 years and 9 month (plus the length of her training & onboarding prior to her being publicly announced).
This is the second instructor to announce their departure in as many months. At the end of April, Ross Rayburn also announced he was leaving Peloton.
These departures come during a time of big changes for Peloton as a company overall. At the beginning of May, it was announced that Barry McCarthy was stepping down at CEO and nearly 400 employees would be laid off. Peloton is also reducing the number of live member classes in London.
Kendall had previously teased an announcement on June 13th (today) – and it now appears her departure is what she was teasing.
For those who wish to take Kendall’s last class, it will open on the studio website for bookings on Friday, June 14th @ 3:00pm ET.
