Peloton instructor Kendall Toole is encouraging attendance to her 2024 Mental Health Awareness class, which takes place on May 22, 2024. The class is officially titled “World Mental Health Day Ride”
Update – Kendall ended up donating $3,100.
She will personally donate $1 for every live rider to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Kendall shared the news via Instagram:
⚡️⚡️⚡️For every person LIVE in class on Wednesday night I will personally donate a dollar to the @afspnational which not only provides incredible and direct resources to mental health support but serves to change the narrative and save the lives of those struggling with their mental health. ⚡️⚡️⚡️
She went on to share that she was looking to encourage action:
I hope that as we break the stigma, we also know that ACTION by community support, programs, policy change and more will be the pathway to empowering our society to choose to thrive daily.
From my journey, straight to yours, I look forward to seeing you all, joining together in this fight and hopefully yall punching a big hole in my pockets to support Mental Health!! 💚🙏⚡️

You can read the full caption at the bottom of this article. The class Kendall is referring to is her 30 min. Mental Health Day Ride, which is scheduled for Wednesday, May 22 at 9:00pm ET.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a leading national organization dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education, and advocacy. Founded in 1987, AFSP focuses on a range of activities aimed at reducing the incidence of suicide and providing support for those affected by it.
For every live rider at 9:00pm ET on May 22, Kendall will personally donate $1 to the organization. Note that this effort is specific to Kendall and does not appear to be sponsored by Peloton.

However, Peloton is taking part in a number of initiatives in honor of Mental Health Awareness month throughout May; including their 20 Million Minutes Challenge, which took place last week and included numerous special two-for-one classes. If you’re interested in additional content, check out the dedicated Mental Health Collection, which contains classes across multiple modalities dating back to 2021.
You can catch Kendall’s 30 min. Mental Health Day Ride on Wednesday, May 22 at 9:00pm ET. Will you be opting in?

💚✨mental health MATTERS✨💚
Since 2020, I’ve been [bringing] you all mental health centered workouts and countless conversations, keynotes, q &a’s, live chats etc. which all began with feeling called to open up with the world completely shut down.
To say it’s been one of the most important decisions of my life is an understatement…but there are so many lives who need support and still SO MUCH MORE to do.
This Wednesday, 5/22 at 9 pm EST I have a very special mental health awareness class to culminate the hours of sweat, lots of tears and thousands of high-fives we have given each other by showing up on the days we don’t always feel our best.
⚡️⚡️⚡️For every person LIVE in class on Wednesday night I will personally donate a dollar to the @afspnational which not only provides incredible and direct resources to mental health support but serves to change the narrative and save the lives of those struggling with their mental health. ⚡️⚡️⚡️
