Ahead of tomorrow’s 130th running of the Boston Marathon, Peloton has put up a billboard on the side of the John Hancock building in Boston celebrating Peloton members who will be running the race.
The John Hancock building sits right near the marathon’s finish line on Boylston Street, making it a visible spots along the final stretch of the 26.2 mile course.
Peloton had put out a call on social media a few weeks ago, asking members who were running the Boston Marathon to submit their leaderboard names. Those names have now been printed on one side of the John Hancock building, while the other side displays the message: “Months of hard work for the ultimate 26.2 mile victory lap.”

In a video shared on social media announcing the installation, Peloton said: “Got a date with Heartbreak Hill? Come find your leaderboard name at the John Hancock building. Good luck to all runners!”
Peloton members running Boston tomorrow will have the chance to spot their own leaderboard name up on the building on their way to the finish line, or stop by before the race to snap a photo.
Becs Gentry shared a picture of herself next to the billboard as well.

Beyond the billboard, Peloton did not appear to have scheduled any official activations for Boston Marathon weekend this year – no shakeout runs, meetups, or in-person events with instructors were announced.
This billboard comes as Peloton is set to launch their new 18-week marathon training program on April 24th, just days after Boston. The program is positioned to help members prepare for fall marathons like New York and Chicago, replacing the Road to 26.2 program that has been on the platform for years.
For anyone running the Boston Marathon, be sure to look for your leaderboard name on the building if you submitted it.
