Peloton instructor and Today Show contributor Ally Love did a segment during her “With Love” Today Show series showing behind-the-scenes of her 30-minute Pop Ride on February 5, 2024.

The class was “Today with Hoda & Jenna” stars Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager’s first in-person Peloton class at Peloton Studios New York (PSNY). We previously shared that Hoda & Jenna had visited PSNY.
When introducing the segment, Ally said that “I was so thrilled that y’all came because, I mean, how exciting is it to merge two worlds and two families, and I got to do just that.”
Ally first joined the Today show as a contributor in 2023.
The week of her cycling class with Hoda & Jenna, she shared that she was teaching 10 classes across cycling and barre. She preps for each class the day before and shared her day-of-class routine: arriving to PSNY 1 hour before the class start time, getting dressed, and doing her hair and makeup.
In addition to Hoda & Jenna, the pop class was attended by fellow Today show staffers and other Peloton members. The segment included comments from those who attended. “I know that this is one of the most highly coveted classes, and I know Ally’s gonna give all the love that she normally does.”
Twenty minutes before class, Ally brought Hoda & Jenna backstage. Hoda asked Ally what they needed to know for their first in-person class, to which Ally said: “You just have to have fun, that’s it, have fun. Don’t get caught up on the leaderboard or the numbers.”
In the video, Ally talked through how riders in the studio live and at home follow her cadence and resistance cues. But what makes the experience possible for the riders at home are her producers and the control room.
After class, the studio gave Ally’s signature “Ally Loves” smoothie to all the class attendees. Peloton member Kimberley Legans who has been riding with Ally since 2019 said: “Today was absolutely incredible. The energy in there was like nothing I’ve ever experienced.”
Ally closed her “With Love” segment by expressing her gratitude to Hoda & Jenna.
I’m grateful that you showed up. I mean to have that moment, to have that experience where, again, two worlds collide. It’s collaboration over competition, Today Show and Peloton.
