Peloton has released a new set of their audio-guided scenic classes.
In these classes, you’ll hear Peloton instructors talking as you ride or run to video of scenic locations in various places around the world.
Note that these are audio-guided classes. This means the instructor recorded the audio from either the London or New York studio, and were not actually on location. This differs from the original guided scenic classes Peloton launched with (which are still available), where you would see the instructor actually cycling, rowing, or running at these locations around the world.
Peloton teased the new batch of classes in an email this week by saying:
“Take your workout around the world. These brand new classes from Joslyn, Leanne, Olivia and Susie include stunning views and encouraging narration from your favorite instructors to motivate you forward.”
The new classes are:
- 20 min Algarve Portugal Ride – Leanne Hainsby-Alldis
- 20 min Sydney Australia Run – Joslyn Thompson Rule
- 20 min Austria Hike – Susie Chan
The class descriptions for each scenic location read:
- Join Leanne Hainsby-Alldis on this beautiful 20 minute ride along the sunny Southern coast of Portugal, in Algarve. The scenery and feel-good playlist will boost your mood for the day!
- Discover some of Sydney’s iconic landmarks while running through this vibrant city with Joslyn Thompson-Rule.
- Feast your eyes on these stunning views of this Austrian Alpine route. Susie Chan is your guide on this epic hike that will take you to dizzying new heights!
The email description teased a class by Olivia Amato, but it does not appear to have actually been released.
This is the third release of Peloton’s audio-guided classes. The first set was released in March, and then a second set was released in September.
