The Peloton digital app has undergone another small shift in how it displays key user data on the home page.
Where the home page once showcased members’ weekly workout streaks, it recently switched to spotlighting daily streaks instead in some cases. Note that weekly streaks are still tracked & recorded, this is just a change in what is being highlighted in the app.
This new emphasis is just one of a handful of tweaks that have rolled out in recent weeks.

For many Peloton members, streaks – visible through the signature blue dot – represent the easiest way to view consistency, dedication, and progress.

The shift from weekly to daily streaks may offer a more immediate form of encouragement, helping members stay accountable day-to-day.
If a user doesn’t have a daily streak, the weekly streak will continue to be displayed. While a member has a 4+ day streak active, it should display the daily streak now.

Members are still able to find the weekly streak in the app – even if it isn’t showing on the landing page of the app for them. If you go to your Overview tab in the Profile section of the app, you’ll still find your weekly streak number listed underneath the blue dot calendar.
This update follows other recent changes, particularly noticeable on Peloton’s schedule and class pages. Just a few weeks ago, Peloton introduced a new icon set to distinguish live, premiere, and encore classes, making it easier for members to identify each type at a glance when browsing upcoming classes.

Additionally, audio-only classes were given a refreshed display format, with a new headphones icon indicating that the class does not have a visual component.

All of these updates follow the recent addition of the Total Active Time widget, which was unveiled last month. This feature, now found on the Overview tab of the app’s Profile section, allows users to track their cumulative workout minutes over different periods, including the past week, month, year, or all time. You can read all of the details via our overview article if you missed the initial announcement.
What do you think of Peloton adjusting the home page streak focus to daily instead of weekly?
