Peloton Announces “Daily Meditation” Initiative with New Classes Every Monday

Peloton has unveiled a new initiative to help members incorporate mindfulness into their weekly routines: a “Daily Meditation” class released every Monday.

The series offers a single, carefully crafted meditation designed to be revisited daily, fostering a consistent mindfulness practice. Peloton sent a push notification to the digital app, and also posted to the @PelotonStudios Instagram account, writing:

Here’s how you can easily build your daily meditation practice:
✨Join us each Monday when we drop a 10 min meditation class
✨ Repeat that meditation as many days of the week as possible
✨ Pick a consistent time and even place to do your daily practice

The first class – a 10 minute audio-only meditation from Aditi Shah – was released straight to the on-demand library on December 2 at 12:00am ET. The official description reads:

Dive into this 10 min Daily Meditation with Aditi that uses a breathing technique to center and ground you. This class is designed to be repeated. Build a daily meditation practice and check back each week for a new release.

Classes will be released weekly moving forward – at least for the foreseeable future – and each one will be 10 minutes in length, taught by different meditation instructors, and designed to be repeated throughout the week.

This series was announced days after Peloton unveiled their challenge for the month of December called “Streak to the New Year.” The challenge pushes members to take at least one Peloton class every day in December – and meditation classes count towards the challenge, and are a great option for rest and recovery days.

As a reminder, Peloton also now has a monthly meditation challenge, allowing members to easily track how many meditation classes they take each month and work towards badges.

What do you think about Peloton’s new daily meditation initiative? Will you be adding it to your weekly routine?
