Rebecca Kennedy's Compounds and Core strength program

New Strength Program from Rebecca Kennedy (Compounds and Core) on Peloton’s Strength+ App

A new program from Rebecca Kennedy called “Compounds and Core” has been added to the Peloton Strength+ app.

Rebecca’s newest Strength+ program is an intermediate 2-week program with 60-minute workouts 3 times a week. (Update: the description and classes initially listed them as 30 minutes, but a few days after release, the program was updated to reflect they would take around 60 minutes instead – which reflects what members had found as well).

If you are accessing this from a phone with the Strength+ app installed, this link to “Compounds and Core” will take you directly to Rebecca’s new program. Otherwise, you will be directed to Peloton’s main Strength+ website.

The official program description for “Compounds and Core” is:

“Build strength and stability in this 2-week hypertrophy program with Rebecca. Each class blends full-body compound lifts with core specific exercises!”

Rebecca shared in her program preview:

“Each class uses compound movements and traditional strength exercises with a focus on core activation. It’s designed for intermediate to advanced gym goers and while it’s ideal for those already familiar with strength training, it also helps newer lifters build their confidence with essential movement patterns.”

This program will require the following gym equipment: kettlebell, foam roller, dumbbells, bench, barbell, pull up bar, and plyo box. As always with the Strength+ app, if you do not have access to a certain piece of gym equipment, you can swap an exercise out for something comparable.

Did anyone try Compounds and Core today?! It to me waaaay longer than 30 minutes to finish all 7 blocks x 3 rounds. Am I doing something wrong?! This was my first Peloton Strength app experience.
