Chase + Peloton Partnership – Discounted & Free Monthly Peloton Memberships

Peloton and Chase announced this morning (see Chase’s version of the announcement) that people who have the Chase Sapphire credit cards will be getting some free statement credits towards monthly Peloton memberships.

Members who have the Chase Sapphire Reserve will get up to $120 in statement credits between now and December 31st, 2021.

Members who have the Chase Sapphire Preferred card will get up to $60 in statement credits between now and December 31st, 2021.

This offer is good for both new and existing Peloton users, as well as for both those who have the $13 Peloton Digital subscriptiton, or members on the $39 Peloton All-Access membership (the one you have with the Bike or Tread).

To receive the statement credit, your subscription needs to be paid for through Peloton (and not Apple,Google, etc), and the default credit card on file needs to be the Chase Sapphire.

For details on how to sign up & ensure you get the credit, you should reference Peloton’s blog post, as well as a new support page for the subject.

It still amazes me that if I don’t buy the Peloton hardware, I can have digital access for $14…but if I do shell out for the Peloton hardware, Peloton thanks me by charging me more than double the subscription price. Anyone wanna walk me through the thinking there? It just seems like greed.
