Tunde Oyeneyin Returns for the 2027 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

Peloton instructor Tunde Oyeneyin is returning to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for a second consecutive year, with a photo shoot in Spain for the 2027 magazine.

Tunde shared the news in an Instagram video capturing the moment she learned she would be back, writing:

“YEAR 2! I love that this moment was captured on camera. It takes me back to last year when you voted me in as a @si_swimsuit Rookie. I’m so grateful to be back and shooting for the 2027 magazine as an official SI girl! This win is just as much mine as it is yours 💫💫💫”

She ended the caption with “Spain bound” and Spanish flag emojis.

Sports Illustrated also confirmed Tunde’s return as one of 11 women taking part in shoots in Spain for the 2027 issue. The team is traveling between Mallorca and Ibiza.

The other women joining Tunde in Spain are Jena Sims, Meredith Mickelson, Charley Hull, XANDRA, Azzi Fudd, Nicole Williams English, Gabi Moura, Claire Kittle, Kamie Crawford, and Brooks Nader.

We first shared that Tunde was one of six finalists in the 2025 Swim Search contest, and the finalists walked the runway at Miami Swim Week. Public voting and the SI editorial team helped determine the winner.

Tunde won the contest in August 2025, securing her rookie spot in the 2026 issue. Her fellow Peloton instructors surprised her with the news at the end of a live cycling class.

Her debut featured photos taken by Ben Watts in Montauk, New York, and the 2026 issue was released in May. She also returned to SI’s Miami runway show earlier this year.

Congratulations to Tunde!
