Robin Arzón “Ride with Dr. Becky” Class on Peloton

Clinical psychologist and Good Inside founder Dr. Becky Kennedy joined Robin Arzón for a 30 min Peloton ride focused on parenting, resilience, and making time for yourself.

We first shared that the class was coming in our October Workouts to Watch coverage. The ride aired live from Peloton Studios New York on Thursday, October 15 at 1:30pm ET.

Dr. Becky took part from a regular studio bike with a microphone, answering Robin’s questions during the workout. This was not a two-for-one style ride – Dr. Becky was on one of the regular studio bikes.

Peloton’s class description reads:

“Join Robin and Dr. Becky Kennedy as they discuss parenting, self-regulation, and how caring for yourself is the foundation of showing up for your family.”

Robin described the workout as a conversational effort, with flat roads and climbs that included time out of the saddle.

Their conversation covered taking time for yourself even when your children are disappointed, helping kids work through frustration, and validating feelings while maintaining boundaries. Dr. Becky explained why kids need to hear both “I believe you” and “I believe in you,” encouraging parents to acknowledge a child’s experience while showing confidence in their ability to do something difficult.

They also discussed repairing a relationship after a difficult moment. Robin shared a phrase for parents to keep in mind, crediting Dr. Becky: “I’m sorry I yelled. I’m working on staying calmer, even when I’m upset. I love you.”

Near the end, Dr. Becky answered Robin’s rapid-fire questions about public tantrums, wanting to quit after losing a game, and responding when a child says something is unfair. Dr. Becky also encouraged parents to reconnect with something they enjoyed before having kids, even in a small way.

Dr. Becky also told riders they could “use Peloton 20” on the Good Inside app “through the end of the year.” The code appears to offer 20% off membership, though the Peloton offer’s terms have not been confirmed.

Dr. Becky reflected on the experience on Instagram, sharing that she had never taken a spin class before agreeing to join Robin. She wrote:

“And I did it! Was I the best in the class? Absolutely not. But that was never the point. I was nervous, I did it anyway, and I’m really proud of myself. I didn’t have to stop feeling like a beginner to begin.”

The ride follows Robin’s recent Walk + Run with Adam Grant, which featured a conversation about human connection. Abby Wambach and Julie Foudy also recently joined Kirsten Ferguson for a Walk + Run, wearing microphones and talking with Kirsten during the workout.

You can find the 30 min Ride with Dr. Becky – Robin Arzón – 10/15/26 @ 1:30pm ET in Peloton’s class library.
