German Unity day class for 2026

Peloton Releases German Unity Day Class (Eine Einheit Walk) with All Ten German Instructors & New Badge

Peloton has released a new German Unity Day class featuring all 10 members of their current German instructor team, along with a new badge for 2026.

The 30 min Eine Einheit Walk was added to the on-demand library on Thursday, October 1 at 12:00am ET, two days ahead of German Unity Day on Saturday, October 3.

Peloton describes the class by saying:

“Get moving together! To celebrate German Unity Day, the entire Peloton Trainer team invites you to join us for a 30-minute outdoor walk, during which we’ll celebrate our typical German traditions, among other things.”

The class is:

All 10 of Peloton’s current German instructors appear in the class. They are Assal Arian, Benny Adami, Charlotte Weidenbach, Cliff Dwenger, Erik Jäger, Jeffrey McEachern, Marcel Maurer, Mayla Wedekind, Mila Lazar & Nico Sarani.

Members who complete the class can also earn a new German Unity Day badge, titled “Eine Einheit,” for 2026. You can always find our complete list of Peloton badges and special achievements here.

German Unity Day, or Tag der Deutschen Einheit, takes place every October 3 and commemorates Germany’s reunification in 1990.

Peloton has celebrated the holiday with special German-language programming in previous years. The 2023 celebration included two multi-instructor classes, with the German coaching team divided between a 45 min Unity Outdoor Walk + Run and a 30 min Unity Ride.

In 2024, five German instructors teamed up for a 45 min Unity Move As One Strength class. Both 2023 and 2024 had dedicated Unity badges.

Earlier this year, Peloton held Reiselust Week in August with 14 German classes, followed by Schlager Week in September, which included a Wolfgang Petry Artist Series and appearances from Vanessa Mai. That was followed by three German-language Oktoberfest classes across cycling, running, and strength towards the end of September.
