Peloton Commercial Bikes & Treads

Peloton Commercial Bike & Tread Now Available to Order for Gyms & Fitness Facilities, Full Specs Revealed

Peloton has officially started sales for the Peloton Commercial Bike and Peloton Commercial Tread, while also publishing full specifications for both products for the first time.

The announcement came alongside Peloton’s new consumer Tread lineup and running features, and follows the Commercial Series announcement back in March.

At the time, Peloton shared relatively few hardware details, saying the new Bike and Tread would be designed specifically for high-use gyms and would begin shipping later in 2026.

Orders are now officially open.

The Commercial Series is aimed primarily at gyms, though Peloton is also marketing the equipment to hotels, residential communities, hospitality spaces, and other fitness facilities that see high usage.

Both products feature a 23.8-inch tablet – the same screen size as Peloton’s new Tread Vision and Tread+ Vision.

How Peloton Works on Shared Commercial Equipment

Peloton has built the software experience around many different people sharing the same Bike or Tread.

There are three ways someone can start a workout.

Existing Peloton members can sign in with their account. Someone without a Peloton account can create a free commercial account, or they can use Guest Mode without logging in.

Guest Mode includes a limited selection of workouts, while signing in or creating a free account unlocks the full Peloton Commercial experience.

That includes live and on-demand classes, Scenic content, Lanebreak, training programs and challenges, workout history, milestones, streaks, and badges. Peloton also says users will receive a weekly set of insights and recommendations based on their training.

For facility operators, Peloton provides connected fleet insights and commercial support intended to help monitor the equipment and identify maintenance needs.

One commercial subscription is required for each individual piece of equipment rather than one subscription covering an entire gym’s fleet. Peloton also notes that commercial preventative maintenance is sold separately.

Commercial Series vs. Peloton Pro Series

The new Commercial Series is separate from the Peloton Pro Series launched in October 2025.

Peloton’s current business site now makes the intended difference between the two lines explicit.

The Commercial Series is described as being built for “high-use cardio floors,” while the Pro Series is positioned for “lighter-use fitness centers.”

The Pro Series includes the Bike+ Pro, Bike Pro, Row+ Pro, and Tread+ Pro and is aimed at shared-use locations such as hotels, residential gyms, corporate wellness centers, country clubs, and similar facilities.

The new Commercial Series is designed for the heavier usage expected on a traditional gym floor.

Both product families remain available, so the Commercial Bike and Commercial Tread are not replacing the Pro Series.

The launch continues Peloton’s effort to combine its connected fitness platform with Precor’s commercial equipment experience.

Peloton combined Precor and Peloton for Business into a unified Commercial Business Unit in 2025, four years after acquiring Precor.

When Peloton first announced the Commercial Series in March, CEO Peter Stern summarized the strategy by saying:

“The introduction of the Commercial Series makes one thing very clear: Peloton is going to the gym.”

Peloton has sold connected equipment into hotels, apartment buildings, gyms, and other shared locations for years.

The difference with the Commercial Series is that Peloton now has Peloton-branded Bike and Tread products engineered specifically for the highest-use gym environments.

Peloton has not published standard prices for the Commercial Bike or Commercial Tread.

Instead, operators are directed to contact Peloton’s Commercial Business sales team to discuss their facility and equipment mix and receive ordering information.

When the Commercial Series was first announced in March, Peloton said it would initially be available in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Australia, and Austria.
