Peloton has announced a new Peloton Commercial Series of devices. These products, a Bike and Tread at first, are designed for high-use gyms.
CEO Peter Stern said of the announcement: “The introduction of the Commercial Series makes one thing very clear: Peloton is going to the gym.”
The Commercial Series will launch with a connected bike and a connected treadmill, described as the ” first releases in a new series of connected cardio and strength products.” The goal of these is to combine Precor’s experience designing heavy-use commercial equipment with Peloton’s content, classes, and software.
Pricing for the new Peloton Commercial Series Bike & Tread has not yet been announced.
Peloton had previously launched the “Pro Series” of products last fall, which at the time was designed for lighter-use commercial settings like hotels, multi-family residences, corporate wellness centers, and country clubs.
Peloton has yet to specifically detail the differences between the Pro Series & Commercial Series products – but it sounds like the intent is for the new Commercial series is to be used in the heaviest-usage scenarios like high-traffic gyms.
The new Commercial Series will begin shipping in late 2026 and will initially be available in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, and Austria.

With the addition of the Commercial Series, Peloton now has three tiers of hardware products: the Cross Training Series for home use, the Pro Series for lighter commercial environments, and the Commercial Series for heavy-use gym floors.
Peloton noted in the press release that its CBU grew revenues by 10% year-over-year in fiscal Q2, and that by integrating with Precor’s established global presence in more than 60 countries, the company is positioned to scale internationally.
Both the Pro & new Commercial Series are initiatives of the Peloton Commercial Business Unit (CBU) – which combines the resources of both Precor (who Peloton owns) and the Peloton teams.
This announcement also comes just days after a Bloomberg report detailed Peloton’s plans to expand its commercial Precor business, including increasing its sales force and reaching gym members who the company hopes could eventually become home Peloton customers.
