Sam Yo “The Monk’s Mindset” Book Celebration at Peloton Studios London on August 23

Peloton is hosting a book celebration for Sam Yo at Peloton Studios London on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

The event marks the UK celebration of Sam Yo’s book The Monk’s Mindset: Finding Stillness in a World That Won’t Stop Moving, which came out on May 19 and has since become a USA Today bestseller.

Peloton describes the event on the registration page:

“Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating Sam Yo and the release of The Monk’s Mindset – a powerful exploration of how ancient Buddhist wisdom can help us navigate modern life with greater calm, clarity, and purpose. The evening will feature a fireside chat with a special guest moderator, light refreshments, and a selection of simple mindfulness practices guests can take home and incorporate into everyday life.”

Those who purchase a ticket will get a signed copy of the book, and a meet and greet photo with Sam Yo.

Check-in opens at 2:30pm BST with tea and refreshments. The fireside chat with Sam Yo and a guest moderator starts at 3:00pm, and a meet and greet follows at 4:00pm, where guests can mingle and take their photo. Running throughout is something Peloton calls The Ripple Jar, described as a shared reflection on kindness, connection, and mindful moments.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, and cannot be cancelled once purchased.

This follows the book launch event Peloton held at Peloton Studios New York on May 17, two days before the book hit shelves. The London format is close to that one, with the fireside chat, moderator, refreshments, and mindfulness practices all carrying over. The New York event also had an audience Q&A, which is not listed on the London schedule.

The book followed a seven city US book tour in May, with stops Sam Yo picked partly by polling members on where they wanted him to go.

Sam Yo first shared that he was writing the book in 2024, at which point he had already been working on it for around two years. It draws on his time as an ordained Buddhist monk in Thailand and his career on stage before Peloton. You can also find a full list of books by Peloton instructors on our site.
