If your Tread metrics look a little different this week, you are not imagining it.
Peloton has swapped the position of the Calories and Distance tiles in running and walking classes on the Tread.

Previously, the two tiles in the bottom-right corner of the screen showed Distance on the left and Calories on the right.
As of this week, that order is reversed: Calories now sits on the left, with Distance on the right.

The change is currently limited to those two tiles. The Total Elevation and Total Output tiles in the bottom-left corner remain in the same order they always were.

Peloton has not said why it made the swap. One thing the change does, though, is line the tiles up closer to the leaderboard toggle Peloton added last year, which lets members rank the leaderboard by distance instead of output. On that toggle, output sits on the left and distance on the right, so with Distance now moved to the right, the two layouts are a bit more consistent.
The Bike is also untouched for now. None of its metric tiles have moved, and Calories continues to sit to the right of Total Output in the bottom-right corner.

This follows Peloton making a number of other small refinements over the past year. This includes changes like a filter for Peloton teams on the leaderboard, updates to continue your stack layout and the Focus Area section on the strength class plan.
