Peloton Global Running Day Classes for 2025 (Including Class with Kathrine Switzer)

Peloton is going all out for Global Running Day 2025, with a fresh slate of new classes, including special guest Kathrine Switzer and multi-instructor classes, as well as the official launch of Peloton Studios New York Run Club.

Peloton shared the news via Instagram with a teaser video featuring instructors Matt Wilpers and Alex Karwoski, and a caption reading:

It’s official: Peloton Studios New York Run Club is launching June 4th @ 6 PM with runs happening monthly 🔥 This Global Running Day move with us by:

For some people in London & NYC, Peloton will be hosting live in person run clubs for Global Running Day today.

In addition, five new Peloton Global Running Day classes were released on to the on-demand library this morning, on Wednesday, June 4. You can find the complete class list below:

  • 30 min. GRD Run with Kathrine Switzer – Susie Chan – 6/4/25 @ 7:30am ET
  • 30 min. Global Running Day Run – Jeffrey McEachern – 6/4/25 @ 1:00pm ET [German]
  • 45 min. Global Running Day Run – Becs Gentry – 6/4/25 @ 5:30pm ET
  • 20 min. Focus Flow: For Runners – Mariana Fernández – 6/4/25 @ 6:00pm ET

A major highlight of the new content is a 30-minute Global Running Day Run featuring numerous instructors: Erik Jäger, Hannah Frankson, and Jon Hosking from London; and Kirsten Ferguson, Matt Wilpers, and Robin Arzón from New York. This class brings together coaches from both studios for one celebration of the running community. The official class description reads:

Join our 30 min Global Running Day class, as we unite our global team and studios to celebrate our running community. Whether you’re a beginner, a marathoner, or anywhere in between—this class is for everyone who loves to lace up!

Peloton debuted its first multi-instructor Global Running Day class in 2024, and the tradition is set to continue for 2025.

Another standout offering is a special 30-minute run led by Susie Chan, joined by legendary guest Kathrine Switzer – the first woman to officially run the Boston Marathon. The run, which will be an outdoor audio class, blends running with conversation as Susie and Kathrine share stories of running. The official class description reads:

Join Susie and special guest, Running Royalty, Kathrine Switzer in this 30 min Global Running Day class, where we celebrate the runner inside every single one of us, together, as a community!

Additional classes round out the day, including a class with Becs Gentry, a run from Jeffrey McEachern, and a new focus flow for runners from Mariana Fernandez.

In case you missed it, we previously shared that Peloton Studios New York (PSNY) run clubs will now happen monthly. Peloton has also celebrated Global Running Day with special classes in both 2024 and 2023.
