Peloton is hitting the ground running in honor of Global Running Day. Peloton Studios in both New York City and London both will host in-person outdoor Peloton Run Club events on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
While London has hosted in-person run clubs before on a regular basis, this will be one of the first in New York City (outside of special events like lululemon weekend and Peloton Homecoming).
The announcement was shared via social media, along with a new webpage containing all the event details: event.onepeloton.com/grdpelotonstudios. The official event description reads:
For the first time ever, we’re taking it outside from both Peloton Studios, on the same day. You heard it, we’re launching Peloton Studios Run Club in New York City.
Join us for an energizing outdoor 5K run in celebration of Global Running Day. Celebrate the joy of movement. This community run is about showing up, sweating it out, and celebrating the power of running—together. Lace up and let’s hit the streets of London and New York City together.
This dual-city celebration invites members to take part in a 5K run (or walk) starting and ending at Peloton’s flagship studios: Peloton Studios New York (PSNY) and Peloton Studios London (PSL). The events will take place on Wednesday, June 4 at 6:00pm local time, and is designed to celebrate the power of running and community, with participants coming together to move, sweat, and connect in-person.

In New York City, the run will be led by Peloton instructors Alex Karwoski and Matt Wilpers. The 5K route will begin and end at Peloton Studios New York, and is open to runners and walkers of all levels. Participants can choose from three pace groups: Group 1 for those running a sub-10-minute mile pace, Group 2 for a 10 to 12-minute mile pace, and Group 3 for a walk + run experience.
Across the pond, Peloton Studios London will host its own 5K run led by instructors Susie Chan and Jon Hosking. Like the NYC event, the route will start and end at the studio. For the first time, Peloton is also offering a 3K walking route to make the event even more inclusive. London participants can select from Group 1 with a target finish time of 25 to 30 minutes, Group 2 with a target of 30 to 35 minutes, and Group 3 for those opting for the 3K walk.
For both events, spots are free, but are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants must also complete a confirmed registration and sign an activity waiver in advance. Those interested in joining the NYC and London runs can register via the specific event pages.

Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear and check local weather forecasts when choosing their apparel and gear. Peloton notes that the events may be subject to change or cancellation due to adverse weather conditions, and they will notify registrants of any changes in advance.
We also expect Peloton to celebrate Global Running Day with themed classes on the platform as they have done in years past. We will share all class details as they become available.
In case you missed it, we recently shared that Peloton plans to triple the number of real-world events they host in the coming year. We have already seen an uptick in in-person event opportunities in recent weeks.
If you are interested in attending Peloton’s Global Running Day run club events in New York City or London, be sure to register via the event website as soon as possible.
