Peloton has a new class collection, available across Peloton devices, the website, and app, called “Now Playing.” With Peloton releasing hundreds of new classes a week, the intent with this collection seems to be curating & highlighting a small number of classes each week – helping make the decision of what class to take a little easier for some people.
The description for this new class collection is:
“Check out a weekly selection of our newest classes, all in one place.”
The “Now Playing” collection will include a variety of highlighted recent classes across workout modalities and will likely be updated once a week.
As of April 10, there are 9 classes in the “Now Playing” collection with class dates ranging from March 27 to April 6. Classes includes rides, runs, yoga, row, and dance cardio.

Some of the current highlighted classes are featured classes that Peloton previously called out on social media, like the Lady Gaga two-for-one ride, Country Happy Hour Ride, and Armada Music Live DJ classes.
This “Now Playing” collection concept is actually something Peloton has tried before with their “Peloton Picks” collections back in 2022. Those were four different collections by modality – cycling, running, yoga, and strength specifically for the Peloton Guide.
The “Peloton Picks” collections were also designed to be updated weekly, so time will tell how long the “Now Playing” collection is maintained.
For the past year or so, Peloton has also been highlighting some classes each week via the “This Week at Peloton” social media posts. However, those posts sometimes tease classes not yet available to take – and you also couldn’t find references to those classes on the actual Peloton devices. With “Now Playing”, you can see the list of classes and immediately take them on whatever Peloton device you are on.
We will update once we know more on how often and possibly what day of the week the “Now Playing” class collection gets updated with new classes, if it grows to more than 9 classes, and whether the entire collection gets swapped out with new classes with each update.
