Bug with Peloton PR badges not being awarded is being fixed

Peloton is in the process of fixing a bug related to PRs.

Typically, every time that you get a new maximum output for a class of a specific length, you are awarded a PR badge (personal record, or personal best).

For the past week or more, members have been reporting that they have not been earning their badges when they set new PRs.

Now, Peloton has acknowledged there is a bug, and that a fix is rolling out. The bug report was titled “Majority of PRs achievements not awarded from 1/15-1/21”

According to the official status report, this began on January 15th, and ran through January 21st. As of yesterday, the bug that was causing the PR badges to not be awarded has been fixed, and they should show up automatically again moving forward.

In addition, Peloton says that they will be going back in to “backfill the data” (i.e. retroactively award the badges) for any that should have been awarded from Jan 15-21 but were not.

The latest update on this issue is:

Team has identified there was an issue with awarding PR achievements between 1/15 and 1/21 that impacted the majority of our members. This issue has been resolved going forward and team is working to backfill the data missed between 1/15 and 1/21.

Peloton has not clarified how long it will take to backfill this data.

This update comes as the custom audio slider was returned after being gone for 2 months due to a bug, and there has been buffering issues for 2+ months in Germany in live classes.
