Class with Becs Gentry & Meb Keflezighi, Plus First Live Outdoor Peloton Run with Robin Arzón

Peloton has announced numerous special running classes in advance of the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon.

First, Peloton will hold a special running class with instructor Becs Gentry and marathon legend Meb Keflezighi. Peloton shared the news via the @PelotonStudios Instagram Stories.

The class – 30 minutes in length and titled “Marathon Race Prep with Meb” – is scheduled for Friday, November 1 at 3:00 p.m. ET, and will take place live from Peloton Studios New York (PSNY). The class has been added to the upcoming schedule, and the official description reads:

Get ready to crush your marathon goals with Becs and famed marathoner Meb Keflezighi as they run and reflect on the life lessons learned on the marathon courses.

Meb Keflezighi is a retired American long-distance runner and one of the most accomplished marathoners in U.S. history. He has competed in and won numerous international competitions, winning a silver medal in the 2004 Athens Olympics, winning the 2009 New York City Marathon, and winning the 2014 Boston Marathon.

In addition, Peloton has also announced the first ever live outdoor run on the platform with instructor Robin Arzón.

The 30 minute “26.2 Celebration Run” is scheduled for Saturday, November 2 at 12:00pm ET, and members can now count themselves in via the upcoming schedule.

The official class description reads:

Celebrate all things 26.2 in this live outdoor run with Robin. There’s nothing more electrifying than the energy felt when running together as a community.

It is currently unclear what exactly this class will look like and how it will unfold, as all of Peloton’s outdoor content – aside from scenic classes – are audio-only. The class will take place live, meaning that it will not be pre-recorded. The class is not listed on the studio booking site, meaning that it may not have members in-person – unless it is a private, invite-only class. Peloton also didn’t specify whether Robin would be on-location somewhere, or if it would just be a themed class recorded from PSNY.

The New York City Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, November 3. Both of these upcoming classes are part of Peloton’s ongoing partnership with the New York Road Runners (NYRR), which was first announced a year ago. The two organizations are also collaborating on numerous in-person events throughout marathon weekend.

You can now count yourself in to the upcoming Marathon Race Prep with Meb and the 26.2 Celebration Run on the upcoming schedule. Will you be taking either of these special classes?
