The form feedback feature on the Peloton Guide has begun rolling out to more members in an expanded beta test phase.
In case you missed it, in June we shared that Peloton had begun testing form feedback – a long-requested feature on the Guide – with a very small group of members. The feature provides a “real-time analysis and personalized tips to improve your form during Movement Tracker classes.”

Over the past few days the feature has become available to more Guide owners, but it is still tagged with a “beta” label, indicating that the feature remains in the test phase.
As was the case when it was initially tested with a small subset of members, the Guide’s form feedback feature shows a visual indicator on the screen – a colored circle – and plays an audio cue if it observes form that requires tweaking.
A white circle indicates that the form is being analyzed; a gold circle indicates that the form needs attention; and a green circle with a checkmark indicates good form.

The member must be in “self mode” in order to activate the feature, and it is still only available on specific strength movements.
Note that the Peloton Guide form feedback feature is still currently only available on certain “Movement Tracker” classes – in other words, classes that are specifically made for Peloton Guide and also utilize the rep counting feature. Form feedback is not yet available on all Movement Tracker classes, however.
Members have observed form feedback working on Andy Speer’s Density Training 2 program as well as Rebecca Kennedy’s new 3 Day Intermediate Split Strength program, and more. But again, the form feedback feature does not activate on every single strength movement – only some of them – as it is still in the beta phase.
After completing the workout members will see additional data that was not previously available in the workout summary, such as tips to keep in mind for performing the movement in the future.

Note that the Guide form feedback feature can be deactivated at any time through the settings on the device.
As a reminder, Peloton recently permanently lowered the price of the Peloton Guide to only $95. The device previously retailed for $195.
If you own the Peloton Guide, have you recently gained access to the form feedback beta test? If so, what are your thoughts?
