Peloton is giving away one free Tread device to a lucky winner. Peloton is partnering with marathoner, running advocate, and author Martinus Evans to promote the giveaway. Martinus shared the news via Instagram.
Those who are interested can enter the contest via https://www.onepeloton.com/winatread.
The contest is open through May 25, 2024. The only information needed to enter is an email address and zip code. The complete terms and conditions cover all of the eligibility requirements and rules of the contest, and there are some pertinent items to note:
- The contest is only open to individuals who live within the contiguous United States and the District of Columbia.
- Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Everyone is limited to one entry.
- Those who enter the contest agree to receive marketing emails from Peloton.
Note that the rules also state it is open to “first time subscribers to Peloton marketing emails” – so keep that in mind when entering your email address!
According to the contest rules, Peloton will randomly select the winner on or around June 3. The prize is non-transferrable, and in addition to the Tread device (which currently retails for $2,995), the winner will also receive a check for $1,285 “intended to assist with tax liability related to the prize.”
It is important to note that the All-Access Membership that is required along with any hardware purchase is a separate cost and not included within the sweepstakes. In addition, the prize is the standard Tread, not the original Tread+ – which resumed sales late last year.
