Peloton instructors Andy Speer and Matt Wilpers are taking to Instagram throughout the month of November to provide strength exercises specifically for skiers.
Update – Peloton has now added an official Strength for Skiers program by Andy & Matt.
Andy and Matt shared the news via Instagram:
As the ski season approaches, it’s time to get our bodies ready with some targeted strength training!! 🏋️♂️
For the month of November, @andyspeer and I will be providing some exercises that you can add to your strength training routine to help you improve performance and reduce risk of injury this ski season 🎿
For more complete workouts and routines, check out the @onepeloton strength programs and classes 🙌

For those wondering, these do not appear to be official Peloton skiing classes – the way there are strength for runners classes or yoga focus flows for riders, runners, and rowers – though, that does not mean there might not be official “Peloton Strength for Skiers” classes in the future.
On every Friday in November Andy and Matt will post at least one exercise specifically targeted towards skiers. They recommend warming up before and adding this exercise to your routine if you’re taking to the slopes. The first video highlights a pogo hop and a side plank with a leg raise.
Matt shared in the post that he is asked every year about strength exercises that will help skiers, which is how this new series originated. Matt reached out to his “favorite strength instructor” Andy to assist.
Matt and Andy also recommend checking out all of Peloton’s various strength training programs. You can find a breakdown and class list for all of Peloton’s strength programs via Pelo Buddy.
