Discount for New Peloton App Members: 3 Months for the Price of 1

Peloton is offering a discount for new Peloton app members: 3 months for the price of 1.

Peloton advertised the deal on Instagram on April 18 in conjunction with National Exercise Day.

The offer runs from April 17 until May 15, 2024 and is for new Peloton app members only. The offer is only available in-app through the iPhone and Android app. In other words you must create an account via the iPhone or Android Peloton app, rather than doing it on the Peloton website, to take advantage of the limited-time discount.

Peloton shared more information on the promotion page for the discount, saying:

Get 3 months of the Peloton App for as low as $12.99 for outdoor running, strength training, yoga classes, and thousands more.

The promotion page also has a QR code which you can scan for easier downloading of the Peloton app if you don’t have it already.

New app members can get a Peloton App One Membership for 3 months for $12.99 or a Peloton App+ Membership for $24 when you access via Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment for the first month is required up front. You can cancel the app membership any time before the end of the 3-month period. After the end of the third month members will be charged the standard monthly rate ($12.99 for App One, $24 for App+).

As we shared when the new Peloton app tiers rolled out in 2023, App One users receive access to the majority of Peloton classes for modalities that do not require a hardware device such as a Bike, Tread, or Row. App One users are limited to three hardware-based classes per month. App+ users get unlimited access to all class types.

This offer comes on the heels of Peloton quietly removing the free-membership tier on the app as well as limiting the new free app trial period to seven days (previously was 30 days).

With the loss of the free app tier, we may continue to see more discounting on Peloton’s app prices in the future.
