“You Can Run: 5K” German Peloton Program & Training Plan (Du kannst: 5km laufen)

Peloton has launched new 5K programs in both English & German today.

Both programs are 8 weeks long, with 3 runs per week, building up to a 5K. The German program is led by Erik Jager, Jeffrey McEachern, Mayla Wedekind, and Marcel Maurer.

Peloton’s “Du kannst: 5km laufen” Program Description

Here is the official description for “Du kannst: 5km laufen” from Peloton: “Mit diesem 8-wöchigen Programm, das sich perfekt für Laufanfänger eignet, bereitest du dich auf einen 5 km-Lauf vor! In drei Einheiten pro Woche baust du Ausdauer und Selbstvertrauen für einen erfolgreichen 5 km-Lauf auf.”

Peloton’s “Du kannst: 5km laufen” Program Badges

It wouldn’t be a Peloton program without badges (you can always find a full list here). You can earn a Bronze badge for completing 12 classes, Silver badge for completing 17 classes, Gold badge for completing 20 classes out of the total 23 classes.

At time of publishing programs can be joined from the Peloton Bikes, Tread, Peloton Digital app, or the Peloton website. Simply browse to the programs area, find the Du kannst: 5km laufen program, and join the program. You can join the program here.
